About the Position

At Orkla Snacks, OLW, you will play an important role in the company's production flow, ensuring that the production of Sweden's favorite snacks runs smoothly and efficiently. The work involves following clear instructions and set goals while engaging in good collaboration and contributing to team morale.

At OLW, safety, hygiene, and quality are always the top priorities. In this role, you are expected to work responsibly and adhere to applicable safety, hygiene, and quality procedures at every step. It is crucial that you take personal responsibility for both your own safety, your colleagues' safety, and for ensuring that the food products produced meet the highest quality standards.

The summer assignment is a consultancy role through Adecco, with group interviews starting in mid-February. The assignment period spans approximately eight weeks during the summer (tentatively weeks 26–33). You will receive on-site training at OLW during the spring and therefore need to be available already then. The assignment may be extended based on the needs of the business.

Monitoring, operation, and control of production lines
Packaging and handling of food products
Working according to established quality and hygiene standards
Contributing to improvements and efficiency in the production flow

Working Hours

Working hours vary between morning, afternoon, and night shifts, meaning work at varying times throughout the week (Sunday night - Friday):

Morning:

Monday - Thursday 06:00 - 14:30
Friday 06:00 - 12:30

Afternoon:

Monday - Thursday 14:24 - 22:54
Friday 12:24 - 18:54

Night:

Sunday - Thursday 22:48 - 06:00 (starts Sunday evening, ends Friday morning)

Note: You cannot choose your shifts; you will be assigned based on the needs of the business. Therefore, the role requires good flexibility and the ability to commute to and from work regardless of the time of day.

About You

We are looking for someone who is reliable, responsible, and meticulous, and who understands the importance of working systematically in a food production environment. For you, order and cleanliness are a given, and you always prioritize hygiene and quality above all – for your own safety, your colleagues' safety, and for food safety in production.

You take responsibility for following instructions, routines, and hygiene regulations to the letter, even when the pace is high or the work becomes repetitive. You understand that small deviations can have significant consequences in food production and therefore act diligently, attentively, and consistently in your work. Reliability is central to the role, as the work requires you to always follow procedures and quality standards to ensure food safety.

At the same time, you are a team player who enjoys working with others, contributes to a positive atmosphere, and fosters good collaboration within the team. You are engaged, show initiative, and are happy to contribute that little extra by identifying improvement opportunities that enhance quality, safety, and efficiency in production.

Requirements for the Position:

At least 18 years old
Swedish proficiency in both spoken and written (reading comprehension + communication)
Good understanding of English

Desirable Experience:

Forklift license (A + B)
Previous experience in food production
Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
